What the MASK-CAM Gerber AI Stencil Workbench can do
← Back to workbenchMulti-tenant workspaces
Sign in with email, create one or more companies, and group projects under workspaces. Files, snapshots, and edits are scoped to the active workspace so multiple SMT teams can share one server safely.
CAD-grade canvas
Vector SVG rendering with mouse drag pan and per-layer color. Use the Z key (or +) to zoom in, X (or -) to zoom out, and R to reset. Aperture-aware shapes (circle, obround, rectangle, polygon) render at any zoom level without pixel artifacts.
IPC-7525 inspection
Enter the stencil thickness and the workbench computes Aspect Ratio (short side / thickness) and Area Ratio (area / (perimeter × thickness)) for every paste opening, flags violations below 1.5 / 0.66 thresholds, and also reports any opening narrower than your minimum width.
NC drill / through-hole crossing
Excellon NC drill files are parsed alongside Gerber. Where a drill hole sits inside a paste opening's bounding box, the workbench raises a paste_on_through_hole violation so plated holes are never solder-pasted by accident.
Automatic SMD pad detection
Even when a paste-mask layer is missing, the workbench reverse-extracts SMD pads from the intersection of copper, solder mask, and drill data, draws them as indigo dotted rectangles, and flags any SMD pad that lacks a matching paste opening.
Cap Editor variants
Replace under-printing pads with Home Plate, Inverse Home Plate, Step-down, Rounded Rectangle, or Circle caps — each rotatable from 0° to 360°. A live preview shows the predicted IPC ratios; click Save to persist the cap as an apply_cap edit alongside accepted recommendations.
